After so many years and so many attempts, the Isles finally got a new barn to call home. UBS Arena has all the bells and whistles of a modern arena but with the feel of the Coliseum. We were delighted to take in the first Caps game at UBS as the December game had to be postponed when the NHL started the Christmas break early for a Covid reset.
The game was great with Tom Wilson opening the scoring in the 1st period giving the Caps a lead they would keep all night. Ovechkin scored in the waning minutes sealing the 2-0 victory. Wilson took 1st Star honors on the night, much to the chagrin of all his haters on the Island.

Trip Itinerary
The Caps Road Crew will be traveling to Elmont, NY for a 2pm Saturday afternoon game at the brand new UBS Arena. The early reports are that this is a beautiful barn and you’ll want to check it out while it still has that new rink smell. We’ll gather on-site for a tailgate brunch prior to the game and if the last one is any indication, this will be a highlight of the weekend again this year.
The CRC has made arrangements for good lower bowl seats, grouped together in Section 118, for only $135 each. No extra fees over the cost of the ticket will be charged and individual transportation will be up to those attending.
Space is limited so be sure to get your reservation in asap to guarantee your spot alongside the other Caps fans making the trip. Please email us at info@capsroadcrew.com asap if you would like to join us or have any questions. All tickets have been claimed but a waitlist has been established for spots that become available. Those new spots will be allocated in the order requests are received.
