February 18, 2023 – Bruins/Caps Viewing Party at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern

We’re gathering upstairs at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern beginning at 1pm to catch the early games and the Caps pregame before the 3:30 drop of the puck.  The beer is cold and the wings are hot and there’s no better place to catch the game.  There is plenty of space and everyone can join in the raffle for door prizes, but if you email me at info@capsroadcrew.com with an estimate of how many are in your party, you and all your pals will each get an extra raffle ticket.

We had a great turnout last year and a really good time.  Hope you can join us again!

February 18, 2023 – Stadium Series Viewing Party at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern

We’re gathering upstairs at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern, our DC home, beginning at 6pm to take in the action on their wall-to-wall HD TVs. There is plenty of space and everyone can join in the raffle for door prizes, but if you email me at info@capsroadcrew.com with an estimate of how many are in your party, all your pals will get an extra raffle ticket. We’ve acquired some interesting swag during the Pause and are eager to move it from our home to yours.

The fans in Raleigh may have a good time at their fanfest, but they won’t have Old Man Stilwell’s Chili, amazing Smashburgers, or hot, crispy wings while watching the game.  Hope to see you all there!

July 1, 2022 – Canada Day at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern

Join your fellow fans for some day (and/or night) drinking in celebration of our neighbors to the north!  PQST is bringing back their Embassy-approved poutine and the Crew is pitching in with the requisite butter tarts and Nanaimo bars for the occasion.  They open at 11:30 and given that is it’s the Friday of a holiday weekend, no one will be in your office anyway so duck out for a long lunch or an early start to the festivities.

See all you cool kids there!

Your Trips

This space is dedicated to those Roadies who have traveled far and wide to experience hockey in a broader sense than what we provide. We’ll be adding personal stories of road trips domestic and foreign on this page.
