Trip Itinerary
We will be hitting the road by bus to the Giant Center to cheer on the Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears as they take on the Syracuse Crunch.
The CRC has made arrangements for bus transportation and lower level group tickets. (A very limited number of tickets aside from those with bus transportation are available at this time.)
Current plans: We’ll have a pickup in northern Virginia at Springfield Metro station at 12:15 p.m. and one in Maryland at the Shady Grove Metro station (off I-270 & ICC) at approximately 1:00 p.m. We should arrive in Hershey by 3:30 pm for lunch at the Bear’s Den in the Hershey Lodge before heading over to the arena at 6 p.m. to catch warmups before the 7 p.m. drop of the puck. The CRC bus will be returning to the D.C. area as soon as possible following the game (expected arrival back at Shady Grove by 12:30 a.m. and Springfield Metro around 1:00 a.m.). Free parking is available at both Metro stations and while the Metro will be open at the time for our departure, depending on traffic and your destination, it may not be when we return so plan accordingly. We are happy to assist with carpooling for those who need it.
All of our available spaces that include bus transportation will be $75 per person. No extra fees or money over the cost of the bus and game tickets will be charged. You may bring your own food and drink on the bus (coolers will be provided for your convenience). There is no smoking allowed on the bus and time constraints will most likely prevent us from making any stops on the way. The bus is equipped with a restroom and video/tv units.
Please get your reservation in ASAP to guarantee your spot on the CRC bus! A reservation should be considered a firm commitment as it will be used to finalize others’ reservations. We will have space and tickets available for 50 people.

The Caps Road Crew will be joining the Caps on their Florida road swing where they face the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers! The Panthers game is at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 24 and the second of the two games in the area.

We are over the moon to be able to get back to Montreal this season! The Caps Road Crew is venturing north of the border to Quebec over the President’s Day weekend for Caps/Habs on Saturday, February 17 at 7:00 PM.
The CRC has made arrangements for a very limited number of group seats, all together across Sections 108-109 for $210 each. This section also has access to the all-inclusive Le Salon Dejardins for an additional cost but is entirely optional. With another opportunity to check out the new barn while it still has that new arena smell, Roadies traveled from all over the East for this matchup between closely-matched divisional rivals. But from the first goal by the Isles early in the first period, it was all Caps for the remainder of the game. In front of a sellout crowd on hand to honor Bryan Trottier as part of the Isles 50th Anniversary celebration, the Caps went on to score five straight goals for a 5-1 final score. That one is gonna sting.

In our first return to Sin City since the glorious 2018 Cup season, a small group of Roadies braved post-Covid travel for this sold-out rematch of old friends/foes. But the home team was less than hospitable in a contentious 6-2 spanking of our Caps. But Vegas has it’s diversions so the loss was quickly forgotten by all.
