Montreal/Long Island Combo Trip Part II

Washington Capitals at New York Islanders
November 27, 2001 | Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum | Uniondale, New York

A rested Capitals squad came into New York hungry for a win. A goal by Sergei Gonchar and two in a row by Adam Oates opened up a high flying affair, including a hat trick by Isles winger Mariusz Czerkawski. The tilt ended in a 5-5 stalemate.
